Rate Limits & Quotas

To ensure platform stability and protect against infinite AI loops, Cheqpoint applies several layers of rate limiting.

Agent Limits

Each AI agent can have its own safety thresholds. These are hard limits; if exceeded, the SDK will receive an immediate rejection.

  • Max Amount - Hard cap on the value of a single transaction. Requests above this are rejected before reaching a reviewer.
  • Max Requests (Hour/Day) - Blocks runaway loops where a misbehaving or manipulated agent submits the same action repeatedly.

Your monthly request quota depends on your plan. You can monitor your usage in Dashboard → Usage.

Loop Protection

If Cheqpoint detects identical requests from the same AI agent within a very short window, it may trigger an automatic loop-protection rejection to prevent resource exhaustion.
