Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Integrate Discord in under 1 minute using standard Discord Channel Webhooks:

  1. In Discord, open your Discord Server (webhooks are created per server channel, not in Direct Messages).
  2. Right-click your target text channel (or hover and click the ⚙️ Edit Channel gear icon).
  3. Select Integrations from the left sidebar menu.
  4. Click Webhooks → New Webhook (or Create Webhook).
  5. Name the webhook (e.g., “Cheqpoint Approvals”) and select your target channel.
  6. Click Copy Webhook URL.
  7. In Cheqpoint, navigate to Settings → Notifications → Discord.
  8. Paste the URL and click Test Connection to verify instant delivery.

Notification Format

Discord notifications use rich Discord “Embeds” to present the AI Assistant name, requested action, risk level, and priority. A direct button/link opens the pending request in Cheqpoint for 1-click human review.
